The optimal formula

This wasn’t a launch from the ground up. Swallow already had the formula. What they needed was a brand identity and story that reflected the same clarity and confidence behind the product, and a wellness ecommerce design to match.

We built the health and wellness branding strategy around three core ideas:

Brand extension

We built a custom icon suite to support the products, not decorate them. Each one mirrors the brandmark, drawn in a single, uninterrupted line to reflect Swallow’s measured, intentional approach. It’s a small detail that reinforces a big idea, the precise nature of every product. Nothing added without reason. Nothing designed without purpose.

This is where Swallow starts to breathe. Gradients flow across the site, layered with gentle movement to echo transformation and rhythm. It’s subtle, but deliberate, just enough to catch the eye and carry the user forward.

We used motion to reflect change. Colour to hint at alchemy. Every transition is considered, reinforcing the idea that this is a brand built on balance, clarity and control. And just when you think you’ve seen it all, something shifts. A flicker of movement. A soft reveal. It adds a quiet element of surprise to the user experience, nothing loud, but enough to make the whole thing feel alive.

Modular, flexible control

To give Swallow’s team full control over how the site grows, we built a fully modular ecommerce design system. Every section can be customised, reordered or reused, without relying on restrictive templates or fixed layouts.

Built in Shopify the setup makes it easy to update, expand and evolve as the brand grows. This modular approach streamlined the development process and gave Swallow’s team the tools to maintain and evolve the site with ease.
