Expression for Growth is a global training provider that works with businesses around the world to transform how teams work together and how they work with customers. They came to us wanting to elevate and update the Expression for Growth brand, whilst creating entirely new branding for their hero sub-brand, Precision.
Expression for Growth works with some huge brands (Coca Cola, HSBC, and Goldman Sachs to name just a few) and wanted the new branding to drive brand authority and credibility while emphasising the human experience – serving serious and playful at the same time.
EfG offers a myriad of programmes and solutions, but made a strategic decision to push forward the Precision brand, which is a connected suite of commercial and business skills. They needed Precision to have a strong identity which is iconic, contemporary, memorable, and universal, while also remaining consistent and aligned to the Expression for Growth brand.
We completely reinvigorated the Expression for Growth logo and branding by using their existing vortex logo as a base, and drawing inspiration from their four core values; unity, passion, bravery and authenticity, we were able to create a distinctive, contemporary, and versatile new brand.
For Precision we started with a letter ‘P’, exploring how the form could resemble a human profile from aerial view, and how two shapes could also interact with each other in a revolving manner, symbolising the partnership between client and Precision.
From there, working closely with the client this evolved into a striking new logo. We also modernised the 5 icons representing each of the Precision solutions, as well as designing workbooks to show these in practice.
