We’re ecstatic to announce that Giant Peach is now B-Corp™ certified. Giant Peach has joined a global community of businesses that meet a high social and environmental impact standard.

This is why we decided to go through the most rigorous certification, to express how important it is to us, to take accountability for areas where we can do better, and to celebrate what we’re doing well. 

What is B Corp™ Certification? 

A certified B Corp™ business is a company that meets a high standard of verified performance, accountability, and transparency. B Corp™ Certification is holistic, not exclusively focused on a single social or environmental issue. Achieving and maintaining certification is rigorous and requires engaging teams and departments across the company.

How we gained B-corp™ Certification?

When we say this is a tough process, we mean it. Every area of the business is assessed in microscopic vision. The assessment covers five key areas of business performance verified against credible social and environmental performance standards. These areas included: 

1. Governance
2. Workers
3. Customers
4. Community 
5. Environment

Companies must score 80 points and above to achieve B-corp™certification, we are proud to have exceeded this score. 

What are our Next steps?

Now we’ve secured our certification, the road doesn’t stop there. We have been putting strategies in place to increase our client base with companies operating at a high level of positive social and environmental impact- the more like-minded companies we support, the more good will germinate.

Being fully committed to our certification, we have also explored how we can continue to increase the well-being of our staff. This led to us rolling out our Better Week Scheme, removing the traditional Monday-to-Friday working week and replacing it with one that will provide more space to live a fulfilled life. 

Continued commitment 

To maintain our B Corp™ certification, we will also need to continue documenting our impact to qualify and undergo recertification every three years. Our next assessment will be conducted in 2026 and involves updating our impact assessment and verifying our updated score.
