Tea or Coffee?

Neither! Just water or fruit juice.

What’s the first thing you do when you get in the office?

Put my lunch in the fridge and fire up my computer.

What’s your timekeeping/workload management secret?

I try not to get overwhelmed by a big task, but just break it up into smaller chunks and do one thing at a time. I also scribble lots of small reminders/to-dos on my notepad throughout the day.

Do you have a way to ‘come at’ the day?

I just try to be positive and keep learning!

What do you love most about your day?

Working problems/challenges out in a satisfying way.

What’s your least favourite part of the day?

This might be a popular answer, but it’s got to be getting out of bed!

Top stress-busting tip?

Just keeping things in perspective! I also try to be proactive in dealing with a problem, and not let myself worry about it for ages!

What’s on your desk right now?

Notepad, pens, my trusty hand cream, water bottle and my phone.

Do you listen to music/the radio/podcasts etc during the day?

Yes – the office playlist is playing and if it wasn’t I would definitely have my headphones in, listening to something.

What are you listening to right now?

I’m not sure what it is right now but I heard Ed Sheeran earlier. I like the variety of stuff getting played in the office and I think it helps create a nice office atmosphere.

When do you take your first break? And what do you tend to do?

If I’m ‘in the zone’ it might not be til lunch. I will have a snack or lunch, check my phone and catch up on the latest news.

What do you do when you have a creative block?

Move on to something else and hope inspiration will come overnight!

What do you take into meetings?

A notepad and pen.

What’s for lunch?

Lasagne from the weekend. I’m hoping to keep preparing lunches, and not rely on trips to Co-op to buy sandwiches etc! We’ll see how that goes…

How do you decide to call it a day?

When I have finished the section of work I’m doing.
