Position?
Marketing Manager
Tea or Coffee?
Either an English breakfast or something minty!
What’s the first thing you do when you get in the office?
Get the drinks in!
What’s your timekeeping/workload management secret?
Get to know your own working pattern, when you have the most energy. Save your toughest tasks for then (9am -12pm for me) and keep the simpler ones for times you know you dip (the 3pm slump!).
Do you have a way to ‘come at’ the day?
Head-on! Prioritise the to-do list and get on.
What do you love most about your day?
The variety. I could be organising one of our thought leadership events one moment, content planning the next or checking out social media for the latest goings on and developments in sustainability (which is ever-evolving with so many brands taking exciting strides).
What’s your least favourite part of the day?
When our office dog Charlie (Joey’s dog) goes home at 4.30pm. I love that pooch!
Top stress-busting tip?
Cuddling Charlie
What’s on your desk right now?
My to-do list (old skool), iPhone, my David Hieatt books, Neals Yard Bee Lovely Hand Cream and a peppermint tea in my BFF mug.
Do you listen to music/the radio/podcasts etc during the day?
Yes, we have Sonos so we listen to a lot of different stuff… depending on which Peach is in charge!
What are you listening to right now?
Ummmm I’m really not sure but it’s pretty mellow!
When do you take your first break? And what do you tend to do?
About 10.30-11am. I either make another round of drinks or cuddle/feed Charlie (I recognise I sound like a crazy dog lady!)
What do you do when you have a creative block?
Walk away, switch to something else and come back. Or ask one of the other Peaches for their creative input… they’re a good bunch!
What do you take into meetings?
MacBook, pen and pad and my brain (the latter being better some days than others!).
What’s for lunch?
Well, usually it’s a salad but today I’m feeling super proud of myself as I’ve made this treat from The Food Medic – https://www.instagram.com/p/BsNidS9ArBQ/. And it’s delish!
How do you decide to call it a day?
Around 5ish. I let the clock dictate when it’s time to call it a day or y’know you could be at work all day and night. After all that’s the gift and curse of work – it’s never-ending!
