Tea or coffee?
Herbal organic teas (from Neals Yard) or home made fruit or veg smoothies (always with a superfood in!) But I always bring in a fresh coffee from home to start my day.
What’s the first thing you do when you get in the office?
Put my lunch in the fridge, turn on my macbook and prepare for my day whilst sipping my coffee.
What’s your timekeeping/workload management secret
GQueues is the app that helps me plan my day, I check it every morning and organise it every night before I go home.
Do you have a way to ‘come at’ the day?
No two days are the same, and in my job any new enquiries and any new business always takes priority, admin is always low priority. But client service is paramount and all emails get replied to promptly.
What do you love most about your day?
The fact that no two days are the same, the great people I meet and the fantastic team I work with.
What’s your least favourite part of the day?
The least favourite part of the day is on a Monday, Tuesday or Friday when I need to leave work on time to pick up Francis (my 7 year old son) from school, because you can guarantee that a call or email will come in that I need to deal with and it’s always a bit of a rush getting out on time.

Share your feelings with a colleague and have a laugh.
What’s on your desk right now?
I like to have a tidy, pretty desk, with some floral designs and always some pink! There's a nice selection of Cath Kidston coasters, a spotty mug, pink glass, folders, notebooks and pens. Oh, and the essential iPad, MacBook, keyboard, mouse and iPhone 5c.
Do you listen to music/the radio/podcasts etc during the day?
I listen to the radio that is always playing in the barn, normally on 6Music, which would be my choice and is what I listen to at home.
What are you listening to right now?
When do you take your first break? And what do you tend to do?
I don’t tend to take breaks, but will often go and chat to one of the other guys or sit and have a chat with Abby. I am constantly snacking and grazing at my desk.
What do you do when you have a creative block?
Take a break from that, do something less taxing and then go back to it.
What do you take into meetings?
Notebook, pen and iPad.
What’s for lunch?
Normally a salad with fish, some mixed seeds and homemade dressing.
How you decide to call it a day?
When I feel that I have achieved everything I can possibly do in the day that’s a priority and I am at a natural break.
What’s your end-of-day ritual?
I always organise my GQueues for the next day, and I always need to have a tidy desk when I leave the office, with a clean mug ready for my herbal tea in the morning.
